NRA First Steps Class NRA FIRST Steps Pistol is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific pistol action type for classes of four or fewer students. This course is at least three hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a specific pistol action type. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; the particular pistol model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, and a certificate upon completion. Price of class includes range time. Please call or email for registration. |

Texas LTC Class Our LTC classes are taught by certified LTC instructors and meet or exceed the minimum requirements defined by the Texas Department of Public Safety. Students are required to already know how to proficiently load and shoot their firearm and follow basic range instructions. |

From Awareness to Avoidance the Refuse To Be A Victim® program is not a firearms or self-defense class. It is a seminar that will help you improve your personal safety strategies and will provide you with valuable information that you can apply in every area of your life. |

Range Safety Officer (RSO) This program was developed in response to the demand for a nationally recognized range safety officer certification. To become a NRA Range Safety Officer, you must pass the RSO course and demonstrate that you possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. There is no shooting involved in this class. |

AR Build Class Build one of our CORE ARs! Then you get to keep what you built*. We go through each step of the building process, explaining the parts and their function. We provide the tools and instruction. Upon registration, we would need to know if you're wanting to build one of three sizes (7.5", 10.5" or 16"), and choice of caliber (5.56 or 300 AAC). You must be 18 years of age or older to attend this class and be able to pass the background check. NOTE: 18-20 year olds will be delayed on their background check due to the enhanced check requirements which would include their juvenile records. *18-20 year olds can only purchase the 16" rifle. |

One-on-one first shooter lesson: duration 30 minutes to an hour
Price: $50/person

Requirements: Lane rental
If you are a first time shooter, or haven't shot in a long time, and would like to have one of our instructors assist you one-on-one in the lane. We will assist you in safe range etiquette, proper loading and unloading of your firearm. We will also assist you in proper grip control, sight alignment and shooting stance. Our instructor will stay with you in the lane as long as you need assistance during your shooting hour. Whether you brought your own firearm or are renting one from us, this is a great lesson for those that are unsure of shooting.
LTC Shooting Qualification only: 30 min duration

Requirements: Must have taken the classroom portion of the LTC class either online or in-person.
